Notice of Water Rate Increase

Combined Consumers Special Utility District Customers

 

On May 25, 2023 the Board of Directors met and determined that in order for Combined Consumers to be able to maintain the quality of water and keep up with the growing demands of our area we must increase our rates.

 

The Rate increase is due to the increasing price of chemicals used to treat the water and the increasing cost of pipe and materials used to maintain the system.

 

Within the last number of years Combined has made many improvements to our water system, and we are continually working to keep our system updated and efficient in order to be able to provide you, our consumers with the best quality of water possible.

 

When presented with such increases, the Board of Directors is still determined to meet the growing needs of our customers, continue to improve services, and maintain the existing investment in our infrastructure. In order to meet these goals, the Board of Directors passed a rate that will meet all the above obligations, fund our improvement program, as well as keeping the District financially stable. Therefore, the Board has approved an increase in the water rates as follows:
