Each May Combined Consumers Board of Directors has a position available for election. The board is comprised of 5 board members. The board members are elected to 3 year terms. The positions are at large. No place or seat.
These terms are staggered as follows.
2026 Two Positions
2025 One Position
2024 Two Positions
Each year Combined Consumers posts notice for positions up for election. Once elected you serve for 3 years. Should a board member resign, the board will seek qualified candidates and will appoint someone to fill the open position until that term expires. Once that term is up for election the appointed board member must file and run for election in order to retain their position.
Should a candidate file for election and run unopposed then they are elected and Combined Consumers does not have to hold the election in May. The actual election is held only IF more candidates have filed than there are positions available, then a full election is necessary.
Sec. 65.102. QUALIFICATIONS FOR DIRECTORS.

(1) at least 18 years old;
